The Yukon is a Magical place

Roasting coffee in the Summer, under the Midnight Sun and in the Winter, under the Northern Lights.

Bean North is an organic, fair-trade coffee roastery located in the northern boreal forest of
the Yukon. Founded in 1997, we believe strongly in ethical coffee production,
sustainability, and traceability. That’s why we work directly with the farmers and small-
scale producers who grow our coffee.

How to Choose the Best Grind for my Home Brewing?

Fine grind Very fine powder, used to prepare espresso coffee in manual espresso machines.

Medium-fine grind Best for Italian coffee makers, AKA moka pots or stovetop. This grind is halfway between espresso and filter, and resembles table salt.

Most used for Commercial Coffee Brewers.

Medium grind: Most popular for home "basket" brewers reusable and paper filters. Also suitable for reusable capsules (K-Cup)

Coarse grind resembling sea salt, used for brewing coffee in a French Press or Bodum™ coffee maker. Also for percolator-type coffee makers.

Great grind for long brewing time - think Camp or "cowboy" coffee.
