Bean North is an organic, fair-trade coffee roastery located in the northern boreal forest of
the Yukon. Founded in 1997, we believe strongly in ethical coffee production,
sustainability, and traceability. That’s why we work directly with the farmers and small-
scale producers who grow our coffee.

Let customers speak for us
How to choose the best grind for me?
Fine grind Very fine powder, used to prepare espresso coffee in manual espresso machines.
Medium-fine grind For Italian coffee makers, also known as mocha or stovetop. This grind is halfway between espresso and filter, and resembles table salt.
Medium grind: Medium-fine grind used to prepare coffee with a paper filter in a basket. Also suitable for reusable capsules.
Coarse grind : A fairly coarse grind resembling sea salt, used for brewing coffee in a French press/bodum coffee maker. Also for percolator-type coffee makers.
