December's coffee of the month is San Marcos. This delicious coffee from comes from Apecaform (Asociación de Pequeños Caficultores Orgánicos Maya-Mames) in Guatemala. It's sweet, well rounded and has a hint of cocoa with a smooth full body. Perfect for any time of day!
Coffee farmers in Guatemala are dealing with roya (leaf rust) disease. This is a very aggressive disease that attacks the coffee trees and - in most cases – kills them. You can help the farmers that grow your coffee by making a loan to Grow Ahead. Grow Ahead is currently collecting money to pre-finance a shipment from Apecaform to North America. By making a $25 or $50 loan by December 31st you can make a big difference to the coffee farmers of Apecaform!
Grow Ahead is collecting loans to finance coffee from APECAFORM in GUATEMALA. Loans come from consumers like YOU!
